Kids of the Congo
One of the most precious aspects of childhood is the unconditional hope that seems to glow from a child's eyes.
Hope in today. Hope in tomorrow.
It's in that hope that spirits rise and overcome even the most insurmountable odds. And it's that hope that Matters of the Heart Charity wants to grow.
Our Kids in the Kongo Program will help provide hope to the Kongo Central Kisantu / Kinkoka Orphanage. An orphanage overrun with children like 4 year old Grace who dreams of being a chef.

Life is a journey of the heart. Along the way you will see many children whose hearts have been damaged, their innocence lost. Our goal is to heal as many children's hearts as we possibly can. We pledge to give all we can toward this singular, albeit lofty goal. We will show them the good in the world, in people. It's an uphill battle, but a battle worth fighting for.
We want every single child in the world to have the heart to achieve their full potential in life. Too many children around the world go hungry, sick, and clothes-less. We want to do everything possible to give children the basic needs of life, so their hearts can flourish and they can reach their full potential.
